Please help us in the final phase of restoring Cardinal Ritter's birthplace!

The Cardinal Ritter Birthplace Foundation is in the final phase of renovating the birthplace and childhood home of Cardinal Joseph Elmer Ritter in New Albany, Indiana in keeping with Catholic values.

Cardinal Ritter's birthplace was in real danger of being torn down. The once grand house had served three generations of the Ritter family as both their home and their business - the Ritter Bakery.

Today - click here to see our progress. We've come so far! Another $ 350,000 will allow us to complete our project. We will finish the rear of Cardinal Ritter's house - completing an important community center and the Cardinal Ritter Museum. Additional funds are being raised for a perpetual endowment so the building will never again be in jeopardy.
